Empowering Women - Micro Camping Route 66

 I, Jodie Gullickson, will ride my ebike, with as many women as possible, each towing one of my 'Soulo' campers, for the entire seven week, 2,500 mile iconic Bicycle Route 66 from Chicago, IL to Santa Monica, CA starting August of 2022. We ride to promote women’s empowerment through adventure travel which boosts self esteem, self confidence, self awareness, and self determination. 

 'Soulo' is a lightweight camper designed to be towed behind an electric bicycle. Equipped with a full sized bed that converts into a chair, the camper also has a skylight, brakes, ample storage, safety lights, and a rear view camera. This opens new possibilities for weekend getaways or cross country expeditions..

The Soulo will have a Kickstarter campaign by the end of 2021 so you can own your own! Maybe we can all ride Route 66 together to complete a journey of women's empowerment.  

We plan strategic press coverage for the ride and highlights of our riders. We are currently looking for a film crew interested in making a documentary of the trip.
